We have an election coming up on Tuesday, December 8th. I am very encouraged and proud of the community with recent town events to utilize their democratic voice and stand up to the special interest groups that are only concerned about their issue and their issue only.
We have a very challenging fiscal year ahead of us, with many important decisions to be made that will ensure the success of our children in our education system. Let's celebrate the upcoming school year for all of the North Andover School students by continuing to work towards a standard of excellence. Keeping with the forward motion that has already begun, we continue to examine MCAS scores and trend their progress both from year to year, and to see how our district compares to the state's performance. We should all focus on working towards better schools by building better teachers through professional development, which will in turn build better students through better instruction, achieving our goal of a better district.
